Background
With unprecedented proliferation of information and communication technology and innovations in media, the scope and importance of the mass media are only growing. Since the invention of printing press in the 15th century, media development has come a long way and so has the need for qualified, skilled and competent human resources immensely increased in the global media market. In Nepal too, with the remarkable feat in the proliferation of local FM stations across the country and the rise of numerous national and local television channels, the scope for qualified and skilled human resources has only increased.
