Festival Greetings

The Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication Indra Dhoj Kshetri has expressed his heartfelt greetings on the great festivals of Dashain, Tihar and Chhath.

He said, "On behalf of the department of journalism and mass communication at Madan Bhandari Memorial College, I wish all the faculties, students, guardians and well-wishers a very happy Dashain, Tihar and Chhath. May these great festivals bring peace, prosperity and happiness on all of us and our families."

He added, "On the same note, I would like to inform that the regular classes shall remain closed from October 16 till November 19."

Regarding the upcoming programs of the department, he said, "When the college resumes on November 20, we have a 5-day Academic Writing clinics for the students of MA First and Second Year. I hope all the students will make sure to attend these practical sessions designed to help them furnish their academic writing skills."

Routine for Practical exam

The Pratical exam of MA First Year (Journalism and Mass Communication) and BA First Year (Journalism and Mass Communication) at Madan Bhandari Memorial College are scheduled as below:
BA First Year: Tuesday, Asoj 23 (7.00-9.00 hrs)
MA First Year: Wednesday, Asoj 24 (7.00-9.00 hrs)

Accrordingly, all the students are requested to submit their final practical assignment to their respective subject teachers and get the clearance for the final exam.
BA students wil have to be present in college uniform.

Madan Bhandari Memorial College is admitting new students for MA in Journalism and Mass Communication (TU). With an objective that no students should miss a year or classes, we are pleased to announce provisional admission package for those students waiting result of back subjects. Accordingly
  • Any student who have passed BA third year but are waiting the result of first or second year are eligible for provisional admission.
  • Those students waiting fifth semester result of the Purvanchal University are also eligible.

Orientation Program for MAJMC First year

Department of Mass Communication and Journalism is organizing an orientation program for the incoming batch of MA in Journalism and Mass Communication on Sept 23. 
This is the third batch to be enrolled in the department's Tribhuvan University Affiliated Masters program in Journalism and Mass Communication. 
The orientation will start sharp at 7.30 and is expected to last around one-and-half hours. All newly enrolled students and faculty members will attend the program.
